Q. Please introduce yourself.
Hello, my name is Sunjae Hwang, and I’m the CTO of ConnectBrick. We were founded in 2021 and specialize in AI-powered image generation.
Our technology extracts visual features from text and generates customized images through tailored models. Recently, with Jector Studio, we began supporting small business owners in their marketing activities, enabling anyone to quickly create high-quality marketing images.
As we launched new services, our biggest challenge became optimizing our cloud GPU resources. GPU resources are critical for AI image generation, but it was very difficult to build an infrastructure that was both high-performance and cost-efficient. Q. What issues did you face with your previous GPU infrastructure?
There were two main problems. First, it was very difficult to predict our costs. With new services, it was almost impossible to accurately forecast usage. We considered expanding capacity and renting more GPUs from our existing cloud provider, but the cost per unit made us hesitate.
Second, with our previous provider, we couldn’t accurately monitor VRAM usage. This meant we could only auto-scale based on CPU, which sometimes led to service delays.

Previously, we had to keep GPU servers running all the time, which meant unnecessary fixed costs. In our own testing, AirCloud’s RTX 4090 environment delivered a single image generation time of just 18.17 seconds, compared to 47.46 seconds on the L4 instances of our previous provider—over 2.6 times faster. Even during heavy traffic, container-based instances are created quickly, ensuring that service quality remains stable in real time.
Q. What was the most memorable moment after adopting AirCloud?
Our satisfaction has only grown over time. The biggest benefit was cutting our cloud costs by 80 percent. Recently, as we launched Jector.ai, our new AI-powered ad creation solution, media exposure drove a rapid increase in demand.
In the past, traffic spikes led to slow scaling and delayed user responses. After adopting AirCloud, our average response time improved to under five seconds, and now we can focus on AI model development without worrying about infrastructure issues.
