AIEEV announced on the 21st that it has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with blockchain and digital platform company DXWORKS to strengthen the digital competitiveness of regional industries.
Through this agreement, the two companies will work to resolve the high cloud-cost challenges faced by regional small and medium-sized enterprises and jointly develop low-cost, high-efficiency AI services using AIEEV’s container-based AI infrastructure. Based on this, they plan to build an innovation model for the regional ICT (Information and Communication Technology) ecosystem and strengthen their cooperation framework.
AIEEV is a company building “Air Cloud,” a distributed AI cloud that connects idle GPUs worldwide to lower the cost of AI access. The company expects that this collaboration will help reduce the barriers to AI adoption for regional businesses.
Park Sejin, CEO of AIEEV, said, “This agreement establishes a foundation for regional companies to utilize AI services at a reasonable cost,” adding, “If AIEEV’s distributed infrastructure technology is combined with DXWORKS’s digital platform capabilities, it can create meaningful change across the Daegu regional industries.” He continued, “Through joint PoC (Proof of Concept) and service development, we will support the growth of the regional ICT ecosystem.”
