AIEEV, a distributed GPU AI cloud startup, announced on the 22nd that it has successfully completed participation in the “Plug and Play” program in Silicon Valley, part of the Global Market Expansion Program (GMEP) promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development.
AIEEV has developed a distributed infrastructure technology called “Air Cloud”, which connects GPU edge nodes around the world into a single cloud network. This system improves the high-cost and high-power structure of traditional data centers and provides an environment where anyone can efficiently utilize infrastructure for AI inference.
Plug and Play is the world’s largest startup accelerator, known for nurturing companies like PayPal and Dropbox. The GMEP is a national program that supports promising Korean startups in overseas proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, investment attraction, and business expansion.
Through this program, AIEEV held meetings with numerous global venture capital firms and AI companies in Silicon Valley, introducing the technology and growth vision of Air Cloud. During these discussions, AIEEV began PoC and joint commercialization talks with several local companies and is continuing investment and partnership negotiations with both domestic and international institutions.
Recently, AIEEV officially launched Air Cloud and is offering a 50% discount promotion on GPU usage fees for early users. Air Cloud provides up to 80% cost savings compared to traditional clouds, allows AI model deployment and scaling in seconds without DevOps engineers, and connects GPU edge nodes worldwide in real time to dramatically reduce the cost and time of AI inference.
Sejin Park, CEO of AIEEV, stated, “Through Plug and Play, we were able to validate AIEEV’s technology and vision in the global market. We will continue expanding collaborations with overseas partners to establish a new standard for efficient GPU cloud computing.” Source
